LaBelle Mariposa gets into gear!!!

It's with a very light heart that I report that LaBelle Mariposa is blossoming in beautiful ways! We have so many opportunities coming up that, as I sit to write this post, I'm having a hard time remembering all the wonderful and uplifting projects in the works.

First, I'll talk about the classes at Trezhers Gift Shop. I have 3 classes scheduled for 2012. Another pendant class, a class where we'll make a larger piece for displaying postcards, photos, or a collage, and a Holiday Ornament Class. And.... I'm working on some original art for my friend Joelle Leder for her Just Daisy handcrafted jewelry line.  I'm having so much fun with this! I'll post pictures when I've got some finished. Hint... the theme is "beachy."

"Face Rock" near Bandon, OR

And... I'm working on a new deck of Inspirational Cards which I'm calling, "The Truth About You" cards. Here's the image I'm thinking of using for the back of each card. It's called "Face Rock" and it's off the Oregon Coast near Bandon, Oregon. Jim and I took a magical trip this summer and I gathered many beautiful photographs which will be used to make this new deck and a couple more I've been thinking about. :)

And... We'll be a the "Playing 4 Peace" event again this year! We had such a great time there last year! The music is wonderfully uplifting and the energy of the crowd is awesome!

AND... Laura has had a painting selected for the on-air KVIE art auction! This is a huge honor as this is a juried event. The preview gala is September 24th, so Laura and Jim will be spiffy and in attendance with all the other artists and art patrons!

As if that's not enough, I have a few other ideas cooking on the back burner of my creative imaginings. Check back for more in the weeks to come.
